We all know how hard it can be to find that perfect color palette for yourholidaycookie sets.As bakers, Easter is traditionally the holiday we use fun & bright or super sweet pastel colors but getting out of our comfort zone can create a fresh take on a classic palette.
In our experience, we have found that taking inspiration from other industries such as interior design and beauty helps to elevate a traditional holiday color palette to something modern and fresh. Looking ahead to other industry’s color trends will set your holiday cookies apart and help your baking business stand out to your local customer base for holiday pre-sales and pop ups.
For our Easter Collection, we pulled inspiration from a holiday plate we found at Target. We were instantly drawn to the moody bohemian florals. We noticed that in multiple departments, the trending colors were toned down shades of pink, yellow, orange, and green. We were loving it! This is a perfect example of how other industries can inspire baking color palettes during the holidays.
In place of the conventional Easter colors, we recommend the following food colors, which are all from AmeriColor.
254 BLUSH
150 PUMPKIN
255 DIJON
129 AVOCADO
144 MOSS
149 CYPRESS
169 LILAC
We purchase our AmeriColor from Grunderfully delicious.
